Abstract

Cette contribution analyse la genèse de la nouvelle législation relative à la libération conditionnelle introduite en 1998 et en décrit les principaux aspects. Sont entre autres examinés: les conditions d’admissibilité à la libération conditionnelle, les instances d’avis et de prise de décision, la procédure de libération conditionnelle et le déroulement de la guidance post-pénitentiaire.
